Reply:Never tried it. But the guy fumbling with the standard tungsten makes it look staged.Weld like a "WELDOR", not a wel-"DERR" MillerDynasty700DX,Dynasty350DX4ea,Dynasty200DX,Li ncolnSW200-2ea.,MillerMatic350P,MillerMatic200w/spoolgun,MKCobraMig260,Lincoln SP-170T,PlasmaCam/Hypertherm1250,HFProTig2ea,MigMax1ea.
Reply:#1. It looks freakin HUGE compared to that button cap.#2. How long before the plunger breaks.#3. Just keep a set of needle nose pliers handy to remove tungsten. To gimmicky. No thanks. If you cant fix it with a hammer, it must be an electrical problem."Boy, everyone starts with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before the bag of luck is empty."-Grandad circa 1990ish
Reply:If I used one of those ejectors how would I know I was a tig weldor if I didn't grab the hot tungsten and sear my glove, flesh and continually utter expletives until the pain went away. Innovation is nice if it works, never like any of the other tig "gimmicks" though, like the filler wire thumb roll feeder, etc. Some kind of Big Blue constant current welding machineAnother smaller yet, Blue machine (it's got wire in it)
Reply:i just loosen the back cap and tap one hand on the other hard and walk the tungston right out maybe im missing something?Vantage 500's LN-25's, VI-400's, cobramatics, Miller migs, synch 350 LX, Powcon inverters, XMT's, 250 Ton Acurrpress 12' brake, 1/4" 10' Atlantic shear,Koikie plasma table W/ esab plasmas. marvel & hyd-mech saws, pirrana & metal muncher punches.
