Hi guys,I get the magazine "Farm Show" magazine.  It's basically a compilation of farmers showing or selling their solutions to common farming problems.  There was a neat product in the magazine by a company named Repair Tech.  Here is their info: Repair Tech1434 E Benge RdFORT GIBSON, OK  74434Tel: 888 478 4558The product is a set of 'carbonized steel rods and plates' that you can use to fix used holes or worn ends on plates, such as bucket edges.  You place the size of rod you want the finished hole to be into the hole.  Clamp it in with a carbonized plate on the underside, then fill in weld in the worn out section of the hole.  You can then hammer out the rod after you are done, leaving the finished hole.  For an edge of a plate, it would be the same idea.  It sounds interesting, has anyone tried it or something similar?

Reply:I saw the same article, I thought that was a pretty neat magazine. Aluminum round stock or plate will give you similar results,  copper works well also.
Reply:BTDT.  I prefer just to weld the damn things shut and re-drill.My name's not Jim....
Reply:BTDT - Buy the damn thing?I was going to, just wanted to know if it actually worked or if it was a flop.  Have fun with the drill, I'd prefer the other way.

Reply:Sorry,I'm only 26, soon to be 27, so I feel like I should know all the lingo.  But I don't and I think a lot of it is confusing.  It's like text messaging.  I don't like it.  Not to get off topic, but it can seriously hamper communication.  Here I thought this guy was being a smart ***, but he wasn't.  See what happens with 'modern' technology?  I need to be more positive about my initial guess anyway : )Cheers!
Reply:If it makes you feel any better, I just turned 27 a few days ago and I don't abbreviate much either.  I think I can prolly count the ones I use on one hand.....BTDT, RFLAO, LOL, WTF.My name's not Jim....
