Reply:I could really use that wire feeder, did it seem to be in good shape or working condition? Too bad i`m a million miles away.
Reply:The XR feeder is about $2K new and the XR gun is about $1K new. Any Spoolmatic 15/30A spool gun can be converted to use as an XR push-pull gun. For $100, I'd buy the machine, look for a used Spoolmatic 30A, buy the $80 wire conduit for it, make an adaptor pigtail for the remote connector, and voila, instant push-pull aluminum mig welding for peanuts, if you have the 3-phase power to run the power supply, assuming it's 3-phase-only. Most of those larger shop migs from that era were 3-phase.MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op |
