What's is a weld test: B1V1 Vertical, GTAW TIG, P14 Joint please explain?
Reply:B1V.1 in the yard is a single V groove. The classification is used in hull welding (structural).Vertical tig is self explanatory. P14 is usually a socket weld in the yard. But it's also a type of filler metal I think used in silver brazing? Idk, maybe someone around here with MILSTD/NAVSEA knowledge could help you more.
