Looking at a used millermatic 185 from an individual and was trying it out and while welding, after @ 3" of welding a bead the wire feed stopped. Opened up side cabinet and found a circuit breaker popped in machine. Reset breaker, welded a 3" bead, wire stopped feeding, and found breaker popped again.I'm looking for some sound advice. Does this sound like an issue on the circuit board? Thanks.

Reply:I believe it was the top breaker, I traced the wires to the contactor that feeds the drive motor. Thanks.
Reply:Thanks for your help Turk and Bob; figured it out. The flat connector on the pc board, pins 1 and 3 were burnt lightly and wasn't making poor contact. Cleaned male pin on board and popped out the socket and cleaned those good and machine is working good. Not that they need replaced but I wonder where a guy could buy them sockets at??Thanks again.
