Hi, My name is Scott and i am very new to this forum. Actually, whenever I look for any answer related to welding, i end up on this forum. Lot of great suggestion and reviews on this forum. So, registered hereI am planning to buy a welding helmet and while researching i got to know about roark supply. As, I have never order welding helmets from Roark Supply. Anyone has any experience with these welding helmets they want to share. http://www.roarksupply.com/Welding-Helmets-s/236.htmIs the price reasonable?
Reply:They are a very small, two person operation. They advertise significantly all over the internet. Ads make them look much more impressive and larger than they are. They frequently advertise items that they do not stock. They tend to over promise and under deliver. Pricing is not very competitive. You might be well served by purchasing your welding helmet from a larger outfit like CyberWeld, IOC, etc. You are more likely to have a satisfying experience.
Reply:Best to buy from a local welding supply co.

Reply:Buy a name brand helmet and not some off brand. Saving a couple bucks and having to buy another helmet because you can't find cover plates locally doesn't amount to any savings. Only frustration because you can't use a helmet you can't see out of.
