Aluminum Cart

I had some extruded aluminum left over after building some camera rigging equipment, so I thought I would make a cart for my welder.  It's not a welding project, as everything is fitted together like a gigantic erector set, but it is strong, suits my needs and was free.Here's where I'm at so far.I bent these little brackets to hold the torch and ground wire.

Reply:I was going to weld one, but since I had this, I figured why not.  I have pics of the rigs on my pc, but right now I'm mobile.It's an 8' jib and track dolly.  Works well.
Reply:One pressing issue...  I have to figure out what color I want to paint the top and bottom floors.  Any suggestions?   I thought maybe red for when I upgrade to a Lincoln.
Reply:I have a can of ivy green paint burning a hole though my...  well...  that I'd like to use.  That might be interesting.Did a little mock up fitment check.  Seems right.

Reply:Looks like you mount the camera on the flat plate, and can rotate it with the arm puller system attached.
Reply:It's a cantilever crane that can raise the camera up 12 feet +, keeping it on a plane.

Reply:I got the top painted.  The bottom still requires some tweaking.
Reply:I made a slight design faux pas and to fix, I'm forced to paint the bottom attached.  No biggie.  Wood sealed, now paint time.

Reply:...and assembled.  I hope to one day get a better machine, but for now, this will get the job done.
