Looking for an SA200

I am looking for an SA200 Shorthood. I would prefer something within 2 hours of San Antonio. I would like something that is complete. My price range is around $1000.I'm just looking for another project welder. I want something I can rebuild.

Reply:Don't know if this too far but saw one for sale today for $1.000 between Frankston, Tx and Athens.  Sitting on trailer.  Appeared to be gas but not sure.  Looked okay from the highway as I passed.  Sorry didn't get the phone #. as it was written so small I couldn't read.  This area is SE of Corsicana, Tx.  which is SE of Dallas.  I guess it's possible it's listed in news or Craigslist.  I have no other info and won't be going back to that location any time soon. I will check Craigslist and if there I will let you know.  I think that is Henderson County. I bet local Deputies know who this seller is as it's posted on side of road.

Reply:I know a guy in Abilene that has a 1949 model SA200 shorthood. He wants 2500 for it, but he may come down. I dont know him personally, but he works at the welding supply shop i go to. He said it he doesnt think its been used too much, but i dont know.
