I'm an ultrasonic technician.  The mainstay of my job is testing welds for defects.  There are various certifications one can obtain in this field.  Right now, I'm training for one, but I'm limited by not having enough welds to test.So here is my offer.  Send me your weld.  I will inspect it via shear wave (angled ultrasound).  I'll send you a full report for free.  I can detect porosity, lack of fusion, slag, cracks, lack of penetration, tungsten, and oxides.  I'll even tell you if the weld is acceptable to whatever code you want.  I'll be able to tell you the location of the defect, it's size, and what it is.Here are the types of weld configurations I'm looking for:.5" plate, single vee1" plate, double vee8" pipe (schedule 80) single vee12" pipe (schedule 80) single veeOf course all this would be for information only, it wouldn't carry any official weight.  So if you're interested, contact me:[email protected], KY
