Just bought a LN-9 GMA for $128.00

Got it on Ebone.  Old, but will do just what I want.  For that price, I can buy a new 400 amp gun and maybe give it a paint job.Gonna run it off my invertec v350.Here is the auction  http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=230106053731  David Real world weldin.  When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.

Reply:I had a box at the door tonight.  I opened it and wahddyaknow,  Its a Miller Tig box.  Nuttin like I ordered.  Typical screw up.  Might end up buying a new LF 742 or LN7-GMA.I have sent email 3 times with no response.  The one I sent had in the subject line"bad feedback"DavidReal world weldin.  When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
Reply:Got it Yesterday.  Hooked it up with the $150.00 new cable to connect it to my V350.  Lights came on.  Loaded with .045, set speed and volts.  Went to weld and POOF .  I welded the wire to the tip.  I looked at the V350 and it said 42 volts.  Feeder said 19.   Called lincoln today.  LN-9 GMA does not communicate with the V350.  To quote the guy at lincoln  "You have an expensive LN-7"  It works great, but voltage has to be set at the V350.  I still like it.  Takes the same drive rolls and gun as my LN-25s.Was it worth $128?  You bet!DavidReal world weldin.  When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
