Reply:I taught my wife to weld a few years ago and whenever I get readdy for something new I just ask her to tack while I hold.  Without fail it gets jacked and she says" Isnt there something to make this easier" and I reply.....Why yes there is and get it on order that evening.  Works every time and she is none the wiserBobI'm spending my Kids inheritance, I dont like him that much anyway!!!!!!Enuff tools to do the job, enough sense to use em.Anybody got a spare set of kidneys?  Trade?

Reply:Well...my wife got tired of me buying "used" tools in an effort to make my $$$ last longer.  Latest go around involved a used 80 gal air compressor.  Managed to let it get away from me as I unloaded it from the truck and promptly busted the compressor flywheel.  $85 later for a new wheel plus some arguing whether the wheel will be bought before or after Christmas, I have a running compressor.  Then, this week the company was generous and handed out bonus checks...told wifey that I want to buy a welder and buy it new...never knew my wife would be so happy in me buying a new tool!  She jumped up and down and thanked me for buying a new tool...should have bought new a long time ago.Cheers,NearBeerPS...proud owner of a new MillerMatic 180, Tillman gloves, and a 160cf tank of gas.  God has blessed me beyone measure!!!

Reply:I buy with my own profit money i make off ebay sales, I never use "OUR MONEY" that way she don't know how much i spend, and i do everything my self around here....so i do need them tools, and i do use them. so she don't say anything (anymore)... My neighbor  has a beautiful  shop....mill, lathe, welders,  he's always saying, "women they just don't understand.....How true.
