Just like that title says what TPI should I be getting? I only cut mild steel.
Reply:Depends on the thickness & type of the material you are cutting. Most literature I've seen recommends 2-3 engaged teeth at any given time on tubing.I am partial to the dewalt HD blades because they are thicker than the milwaukee blades and at least on my saw, cut considerably straighter.

Reply:So a higher tooth count for exhaust tubing and less for say 1/2" plate.
