I traded in my old Thermal Dynamics 100XL right about a year ago with their trade in trade up deal. I got a new Thermal Dynamics Cutmaster 52.I really like it so far. Here's a cart I finally built for it out of an old filing cabinet, some 1 1/2" x 14 ga. square tube, 2" x 14 ga. square tube, 5" toolbox casters and some 1/8" steel plates I had out of the junk pile.

Reply:It's a wonderful machine. Cut my work time by close to 70%. Finished out a fairly good sized job this week, and only used one tip the entire time, and it's still got plenty of cut left in it. Great machine. Enjoy."Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/

Reply:I've had a couple of folks ask about the filter. It's a Motorguard M-60. You can buy the M-100 which includes the filter canister and 3 filter elements.
Reply:The air hose between the regulator and plasma is just a hydraulic hose I had made up.As for the handle grips, I had these left over from another project and they fit perfect over 1" pipe. I tacked a carriage bolt head in the top of the pipe to give it the rounded top. I ordered them a place called Gripworks out of Missouri. They have a ton of different designs and sizes. http://store.gripworks.com/products.html |
