My 9 year old daughter's first attempt at MIG welding

She is daddy's girl and wants to do everything I do. I was quite impressed that she made the attempt. The beads will look better with more practice. Her beads are on the top, right and bottom. Miller Multimatic 255

Reply:Thanks guys. it was all her idea. I didn't have to push her. I guess i am still in the "cool dad" stage with my 9 year old. My 11 year old daughter on the other hand thinks I am a PITA ;-)@SuperArc, why do you say Jessi can't hang with the big dogs anymore? @BD1, its a bit of a tie. My wife has been asking me to teach her for a while now, long before my daughter became interested. But truth be told my daughter went first. I need to buy her some smaller gloves!and yeah, I definitely look better with the hood down ;-)Miller Multimatic 255

Reply:Making memories and I bet she learns real quick.  Had classes in college with a girl back in 1969 that carried a long barrel 357 mag in her purse.  Yep she was in my welding class.  And yes she could out weld us and yes she hunted deer and also looked great in a pretty dress.
