You guys are probably getting real tired of the Handicap Lifts ( Me too)  but they bring in so much money I cant turn the account away....This was this mornings stuff. The New Mixer is working great......I'm still playing with inlet pressures to change the % of helium Im getting since this mixer was made for Argon/Hydrogen   the conversion chart Smiths sent will only work for 50% and I need a bit more at times so I'm using less pressure on the Argon inlet than the Helium side.....That completely changes the chart so it's kinda seat of the pants stuff......Still really cool even though one of my new Victor regulators leaked right out of the box.......  Miller Dynasty 350Twenty Six HammersThree Crow BarsBig Rock
Reply:I can't find it right now but at one time I found a parts break down for one of those. I'm pretty sure there's a balance regulator inside the mixer that guarantee's both gases go to the orfices at the same pressure. Thus changing the input pressure on one of the feed gases shouldn't affect the output that very much.  I researched this a good while back just to see how they worked and compare them to my home made mixer. That was the only real difference I found when compared to my mixer. It's also the main thing I have to keep a eye on when using my mixer. Reply:I think he's mixing argon and helium, helium helps weld thick aluminum with less amps. Hydrogen is very flammable... Don't want to mix that with anything near a fire or arc or a spark
