Reply:The welds are excellent Paul, but your fabrication skills are equally as impressive. That's work that needs to be seen, not covered up with sheet metal! Thanks for sharing.
Reply:Your engineering and overall design skills are just off the hook bud. The flawless welding sets it off as well. Way to go man!!!!!! Pal up with the old brain, and if he abandons you like the body did, just friend up that dlck that used to be your best friend back in the day. If he fails, at least you still have that hard working azzhole that lived around the corner from him. If he gives up on ya, your stuck with two nuts that lived in between you guys. Hey F it, they're funny to look at, and they love hanging out, so just try and fit in. And don't listen to no one. Nuts love company. You'll never be the third wheel!

Reply:Here's a mount for a 40" LED Light Bar. This was made to fit an existing set of tabs for a previous halogen light bar on a sandrail..250" side plates cut on my CNC plasma, 1" top and bottom tubes and a 1.25" tube on the bottom/back.The side plates use incorporated cone-tip set screws that register onto the serrated ends of the light bar to lock in the adjustment. The 1.25" Tube has 1/2"-13 captive nuts welded in the ends to bolt onto the car.http://all-a-cart.comWelding Cart Kits and accessories
Reply:Do you do much work with aluminum anymore Paul? I remember seeing something like a dash that you fabricated, or something like that, and it was too cool. Can't remember if it was on here or RDC though. You don't need to hear it again from me of course, but all this stuff looks great, thanks for sharing.Give me fuel, give me fire, give me that which I desire.

Reply:ZTFab is the metal your using cold rolled steel? I hear cold rolled and pickled and oiled and some other names thrown around on forums. I never know how to tell what is what or when a certain type should be used. My work is purely industrial at my job. So everything from our 20ga to our 1/2" plate is all hot rolled. And since my boss isn't much for prepping anything he just wants it welded and done it tigs like crap.  So the rare occasion when I do tig mild steel we use stainless rod so it actually makes a decent "looking" weld. I'm just wondering if its purely due to lack of not being allowed time to prep my material at work is the reason for my tig welds not flowing as smooth as it does with stainless. Or if its both lack of prep and it being hot rolled not cold rolled.
Reply:sweet kit.table is def getting copied.my eldest boy starts his fab apprenticeship when he leaves school this year, and says yours is the std he wants to achieve.hes even printed couple of pics of o stick on his box so he knows when hes got it right.

Reason being is, Paul is a one man band, where other fabricators work on a group effort, but one persons name gets a stamp on it. Not the case here. Paul is definitely one fart smeller.
