Where can you find the age of a Lincoln 140, and what information do you need? Thanks
Reply:thats a very new line of equipment, id guess its less than a year
Reply:Look at your serial number. Ignore the first two characters, but the next two are the year and the next two are the month.
Reply:Thanks a lot Mac !M3060305244JUNE / 2003 (4years old)The guy told me it was a year old, I guess he was being honest because it's ever bit of a year old.
Reply:No, not June 2003.It would be 03/06, or March 2006.
Reply:And keep in mind that is that date of manufacture. They will use that for warranty purposes if you do not have your receipt. If you have your receipt, they will use that date instead.

Reply:Lincoln changed their serial numbering system in 1993. If you have a machine made before that, you have to ask Lincoln or an authorized shop to look up the year of manufacture.Someone may have posted the list on the web somewhere. I haven't looked Cheers,Bob
