Reply:36 amps should be plenty. All it has to do is run the ignition and recharge the battery. More amps would not hurt a thing. You have no headlights, or heater like a car, so over 50 amps would be kinda crazy.DavidReal world weldin. When I grow up I want to be a tig weldor.
