Esab 250mm

Hi,Newbie on here and I have a question. I'm looking at buying a used ESAB 250MM it's 14 years old but looks in new condition. It's been very well taken care of. My question is...how is the quality, and what's something like this worth or sell for?If there are any ESAB guru's on here that could point me in the right direction I would be deeply grateful!
Reply:Migmaster 250's are basically tanks. They are simple and effective. The design hadn't changed very much right up until they discontinued the model recently. I have seen them run in 750-950 range for that age group. You can get them cheaper. Parts don't seem to be much of an issue since there wasn't a lot of tinkering done with the design. If its in excellent shape and drives like new, it could well be worth a tad more. It really boils down to how much you want to spend. Reply:I can't speak to the MM250 but I have an MM251 and love it.  Very smooth arc, well thought out, packs up easily and you can get some real nice torches with their euro quick change torch connector.
