Hey, I am new to this forum, looking for some assistance.  I recently aquired a family members Lincoln Pro-Mig 135, and am in the process of installing the aluminum welding kit.  However, the liner replacement is kicking my behind.  I cant seem to get the cable off of the machine.  The instructions say to unscrew the set screw, but after I pulled back the rubber cover (right in front of the case of the machine), there is no set screw there.  What it has is a crimped fitting on the end of the cable, and this goes into a brass fitting that has two hex flats on it, but it appears to be one piece - the hex sizes are both 5/8".  I've tried unscrewing this using a wrench, and it turns, but does not appear to be coming out.  ANyone able to steer me in the right direction??/  Thanks in advance
Reply:Look at the connection block of the wire drive unit, under the side cover.  There should be a thumb screw.  back it out several turns, then you should be able to remove the gun and cable assembly from the wire drive unit.Good luck,Bob
