Reply:Nice work! I did something similar in early '08:http://weldingweb.com/vbb/showthread.php...ewbie-projectsI don't have the swivel caster but it takes very little muscle to change direction when I need to move it around. The valve handles let me just plop my boot on them to give a twist to set the carriage head bolts against the floor for leveling. No bending, no tools required, just a round bubble level on the table gets it right.- MondoMember, AWSLincoln ProMIG 140Lincoln AC TombstoneCraftsman Lathe 12 x 24 c1935Atlas MFC Horizontal MillCraftsman Commercial Lathe 12 x 36 c1970- - - I'll just keep on keepin' on.

Reply:Nice mobile base! It's handy to be able to move a drill press around.
Reply:stupid question time,... what are the groves in the base of every drill press. They look like they'd be used with a T-nut , but for what purpose?
