does anyone know if the little center piece of my valve (on co2 tank) where the regulator goes on can be removed? i believe it is a "CGA 320". My oxygen tank valve looks to be the same diameter but it does not have the insert looking thing. Newbie here, any help will be appreciated.
Reply:No...I don't think it can be removed. That is the way Co2 valves are designed. If you are trying to connect an O2 regulator...In most cases you can remove the nipple from the O2 regulator and replace it with a Co2 nipple.
Reply:Hello dave industries, you need the correct type of regulator/flowmeter (designed for use with CO2) and you also need the small nylon washer that aids in the sealing of the regulator/flowmeter when these are connected to the bottle. Best regards, Allanaevald

Reply:Buy a proper CO2 regulator, which will have the needed nylon washer. I don't like using O2 fittings & regulators with anything other than O2. |
