I purchased a Milwaukee 8" metal cutting circular saw a while back. Finally had a chance to bring it out and give it a try.The thing eats metal. I cut some 3/16" plate for a project and it was like cutting plywood with a regular Skil saw. The chips were fine as sand. The guide marks were right on the money which is good since can't see the blade during cut. Left a nice finish with little or no burr.I ordered it through Northern Tool. Don't recall the price...they aren't giving them away. But it is one of those tools that is "cheap at twice the price". Reply:I'm a machinist by trade so I know what a difference cutting fluids can make, Never thought to use it on the saw. I like the idea of the paste type. I'll have to order a tube and see how it works.AlA man is judged by what's between his legs...always ride a good horseMiller DialArc HFLincoln Classic 300DThermal Arc 181iPowermax 45Scotchman Ironworker(2) BridgeportsOkomota Surface GrinderAutoCAD 2010
