Reply:Those are real handy. I have a couple with rollers on top. I think mine are around 1 1/4" with 1" inside slider. I was lucky enough to have some seamless tube so I made them adjustable with some homemade wing nuts. Just depends on what you want to use them for as far as size I guess.

Reply:Like the roller on this. I think thats what he is talking about.http://www.northerntool.com/shop/too...FUMF7AodtUAAzQGravelThe difference between theory and practice is that in theory there is no difference.
Reply:I don't have a picture with me but the roller like Gravel linked is what I'm using minus the roller balls. Just set the roller down in the uprights so long pieces don't walk off the sides.
Reply:If I don't do that can I do it any other way? To adjust the height ?Lincoln 140 Pak MIG Everlast powerarc 140 STLincoln Tombstone
Reply:Use some acme rod or just some all thread. Or square tubing but you will still have to deal with the seam unless you get seamless.

Reply:I made mine for school a little different.  I wanted one height for the saw and one to extend the table.  It is limited to those two heights, but it also works great as material handlers.  I could always add additional fixed heights to the other sides if needed. The limitation is it is not adjustable, but it sure is solid.  I could slot the rails, but I wanted something that the students would not be able to lose any parts, or screw up the adjustments.Last edited by Crabo; 05-19-2014 at 09:01 AM.
