Canadian Forces hiring Hull Technicians.

Hi guys.Anyone have any first hand experience about the Canadian Navy hull tech trade?The position is open apparently.I'm thinking of going tomorrow to have a kick at the can.I doubt I'll get in because of criminal record and essentially being blind as a bat.
