Reply:travel speed looks ok, maybe alittle faster, but not much.  I would definately say your tip is too close to the metal.  You have your cutting pressure right on for the money.  If you can't move your tip up, try reducing your preheat temp.  I cut alot of thick metal at one tank shop with a victor cutting buggy.  Loved that buggy!Can you post some more pics of your torch?
Reply:Thanks guys , the cutting tip height is called being in too much hurry or ( Lazy ) to reset it correctly. This is the height that does best on thin - 3/4 " to 1' , i was in a hurry to get the machine back in a rock pile and didnt take the time to reset. But on the up-side , it gave a nice chamfer on one side that i didnt have to grind. ha haLast edited by Swamp rat; 05-08-2011 at 08:46 PM.

Reply:It is very handy, it gets used a lot on thick plate, saves a LOT of grinding !
