Does anyone know of a ctc saw with the blade on the left side? I've used a skillsaw so much that i've become accustomed to the blade on the left. I know that there are cordless versions with the blade on the left, but cordless won't do. Attached ImagesIan TannerKawasaki KX450 and many other fine tools
Reply:Put a Freud metal cutting blade in your skill saw, The blade is rated for 5800 same as the normal skill saw. Gonna be noisy though and I recommend a face shield and long sleeves. I am not in any way saying that this is an approved setup but I do know that it works
Reply:I have used two different metal cutting tct blades on my skilsaw before, the frued and the morse, neither lasted long enough. The skilsaw just spins too fast at 4400 rpm. And the hot chips flying out suck. If I have to cut metal with my skilsaw, I prefer abrasive blades.Ian TannerKawasaki KX450 and many other fine tools |
