So the MAC tools guy came around dropping of the latest catalog for the May/June specials. In it they had listed a product called Hot Spot. You can view the details here; http://www.mechanicstimesavers.com/s...ro/hotstop.aspApparantly it is a heat absorbing paste and spray. Does anyone have any experience with this stuff? My main thoughts are whether it would aid in preventing a certain mount of warpage when welding. I'm not talking about buying it in the 5 gallon bucket quantities and smearing it all over everything, I would be more concerned about controlling the warpage on more small and intricate TIG projects. Thoughts? Opinons? Perhaps this stuff has no place in the welding community and warpage control is better left to more conventional methods.Gordhttp://gordsgarage.wordpress.com/
