So I started a new project today. This is not a welding table, but I'm going to mount a vise, drill press, and grinder on it. Made with : legs-1 1/2" square tube in 14g, cross-members-1" square tube 14gI'll put some expanded steel in as a shelf, the top will be MDF with a hardboard surface trimmed in a 1x2 I used my Lincoln Weld Pac 100 in MIG and for gas I used co2 for the first time. Wanted to try it, not too shabby. Used my Dewalt metal cutting saw, as pictured, it worked great. Cut all tube on single battery. Will cut some plates for the legs and install some casters. Top will be  2'X4'Did I read that you can spray the mig tip with Pam cooking spray? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Reply:And my welds are getting better still. Couple buggers, but I'm getting better every time. I'll make two of these I hope, and a rolling cart for my table saw.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Reply:That's awesome. I can't wait til I get a few more tools so I can really get to work.
Reply:Thanks, what kind of tools are you looking to getSent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Reply:Good job, Bluehunter. You will enjoy having a work table, but you will not have enough. My shop has several tables, but never a clean surface.Burt _____________________Miller Syncrowave 250Millermatic 211Miller 375 Plasma Cutter Hobart Handler 12010FtDrillBit.com
Reply:Thanks, well how true, but I am working on it. Wife won't let me do any cutting on patio, I have to go out in the grass, cause the metal rusts the sidewalk. I bought a Rubbermaid shed from home Depot last week. So I could take all my tools out of the extra bedroom, and I going to make a few of these on wheels, so I can roll them around to work and still have good work surface. I was standing on that frame this morning and I'm a big guy, 250. It's strong and level. I'm doing the top today, maybe the expanded steel shelf as well. And casters. Now that I have started welding. And I have lots of carpentry tools, these will be great. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Reply:Nice work..
Reply:That will be great. Maybe think about using receiver tubing instead of mounting permanent . I bought a 18'' long piece ,cut into 6'' pieces, drilled holes , and added nuts for bolts with a ''T'' for tightening and wrapped the end. Where I wanted it to extend further I welded regular square tube to it. Just mentioning. It always seems to me you never have enough flat surfaces.

Reply:Really nice, well doneSent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Reply:It's always nice to see someone actually take the time to properly clean and prep their material before welding. One of my biggest pet peeves is people welding through rusted or mill scaled material because they don't want to take the time to prep.Well done.Visit Tensaiteki.com

Reply:Be careful where you store your tools..... someone may decide they like your tools more than you. When it comes to guns and tools, you can never have enough locks and security.Qualified & experienced at welding scrap metal
