Why Should You Guys Have All The FUN????

I know...I know...I said in the past that "Welding Cans Together Is Just A Waste Of Time"....Well........IT IS!!!!However seeing as I never tried this I had all sorts of time to waste today so I decided to give it a shot..Now take into consideration that I basically "Just Did It"..No practice no nothing.Used the same torch set up that we used at the clinic 2 weeks ago..3/32" red but REALLY sharp...# 6? cup...Set the machine on "Daze"....45 amps max..No special prep but did rinse them out with hot water before starting..(Ya never know what is hiding inside those used BEER cans...)Unlike you guys that use this huge filler (1/16") I chose to use .035 5356 Mig wire straightened out with the drill and vise..One more thing...I KNOW this would have been much better with a positioner avoiding all these stops and starts but mine is in pieces at the present time...Well then.... Reply:That is great considering you didn't use 120% backround current with 77% upslope on a triangulated sinewave with 444 pulse per second on the blue lightening setting that was put back on factory default with 92% balance.
