I'm new to welding and am getting ready to buy my first machine. I am pretty sure I want the Fabricator 211i, I also like the Miller and Lincoln multiprocess machines but I can get the 211i for $825 after the rebate. My question is should I jump on it now or hold out a few days, do online welding stores usually have labor day sales on machines? I just don't want to hold out and have the price of the 211i jump back up to the same price as the Lincoln. Thanks for any input.
Reply:I'm on the fence. New inverter Millermatic 211 or Multimatic 200. Ugh, tough choices. Hopefully they go on sale.Last edited by Oscar; 09-04-2015 at 08:35 PM. 1st on WeldingWeb to have a scrolling sig! Reply:, no man, good wish though, welding places arent like mattresses at macys. there not even open on labor day to sell at regular price.
Reply:I use the multimatic 200 . Great machine . Go right indoors and plug in and go to work . Also I saw on cyberweld probably month and a half ago they were running all kinds of sales. Don't know if still going on . Check them out but this multi is a good machine
Reply:Oscar I've been talking to people at work and researching for the past month. I've been scouring Craigslist also, a Millimatic 211 with spoolgun popped up for $700 but was gone immediately. I like the Miller 200 but at about twice the price I can't do it, not with the 211i having the reviews it does. 123weld I know brick and mortar stores won't be open but the Web is always open. Bakers gas already posted there labor day sale but no machines were on it. |
