i HAVE 1948 SA 200 ENGINE RUNS GOOD BUT NO SPARK, TRIED FLASHING THE EXCITER BUT NOTHING ANYBODY KNOW WHAT TRY NEXT
Reply:I think I can dispose of that short hood for you at a very low cost.Seriously, are all the brushes free in the holders? Look at the commutators on the main and the exciter. They are probably dirty. Clean them up with a stone you can get from bill's or stumpf's or a piece of sand paper, not emery cloth. Then move the controls around a bit to knock the crud off.Joewww.CummingsHauling.com
