Got interested in belt grinders and did a search for homemade belt grinders. I have not seen a commercial one that is this versatile.
Reply:That's just a standard KMG Clone. I'd stick more to the original KMG design if I were going to make one.http://www.beaumontmetalworks.com/--Wintermute"No man's knowledge here can go beyond his experience." - John Lockewww.improvised-engineering.comManufacturer Agnostic:Blood----------Sweat---------Tears----|------------------|----------------|----Lincoln Red, Miller Blue, Esab Yellow
Reply:I have a KMG and love it. If I was to buy another, it would be a TW-90. Expensive, but the ability to switch it to horizontal makes it worth it to me.This one is a beast. Last edited by mjb; 07-21-2011 at 01:05 AM.
Reply:Thanks mjb and wintermute. I had never heard of KMG. I guess, as with most things, something that is versatile and can move metal so quickly is going to cost more. These machines are very impressive.
