Scrap Metal Bank

I made this little bank out of some diamond plate scraps laying around. The wire is to carry the thing while it was still hot.[IMG][/IMG]Two turn tables and a microphone.
Reply:Nice job, but how do you get the $$$ outIf you get a chance, look up Tom Lipton (OX Tool Co.) & Adam Booth (Abom79) on youtube. Tom sent Adam a real nice lathe chuck but he put it in a fully welded aluminum box for Adam to figure out how to open it. Reply:Very nice bank. It wouldn't be too hard to pop a hole in the bottom and put in a plug. Is this for yourself or will it be a gift?

Reply:Now that is a cool look'n shinny thing.   I've made a bunch of cubes in the 2" to 4" square range out of Al diamond plate that a machinist friend is going to cut slots in so they can be used for piggy banks.   Also have been wanting to attempt building a regular dodecahedron out of aluminum.   The plan is to use 12 flat pentagrams with 2" sides.   I've been getting some inspiration from this wiki page.   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dodecahedron    I'm thinking there's probably some other pretty cool Platonic Solids that could be built also.
