Found this on the craigslist. Oxyfuel setup with everything you see on the picture. He states that tanks are pretty much full. Not sure what brand the regulators are. Im sure he is willing to drop the price since he wrote obo on the ad. I also really dont need but I just want it. Also want it because the price seems pretty low and it could probably come in handy for me later on down the road. What do you guys think? Is it worth checking out for 190 obo?Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkLincoln Pro Mig 180HF Stick/Tig Inverter WelderLincoln AC225s
Reply:Sounds like a good deal to me. Regs look like victors make sure the bottles are legit. Sooner or later you will need to fill them and don't want to be turned away. The cart doesn't look like a torch cart it looks like a hand truck with bungee cords.Thermal arc 211iCk flex-loc 150 & 130Clamps, saws & grindersHarbor freight 80 amp inverter
Reply:I'd go look at it. My LWS sells the 75 cf acet cylinder for $110 full and an 80 cf O2 for about $170 full. Those cylinders look to be about that size. Then there's the torches and regs, depending what condition they are in, plus the HF cart. My place sells a cheap import torch kit for about $199 new, just to give you numbers to work with.If everything is in good shape, I'd offer $150 and see what he said. If the hoses are dry rotted, regs not holding pressure, tanks not full, etc, I'd use that to try and work the price lower.Around here I doubt I'd have any issues exchanging those cylinders at my place, but some places are a bit more picky. If in doubt, take that into consideration or arrange to meet at the LWS to make sure they would be willing to do an exchange if need be..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size.
