Looking at the thread on the bed frame.....I noticed the welding table in the background. I need a bigger table but am pressed for room. I was thinking about building a portable top out of 2 x 2 x 1/8 tube .......no solid top. This would give me something portable and also would give me more clamping options. Provided I can build it flat will this work?
Reply:I think it will. I once knew a welder that made security storm doors. His table was square tubing in about 12-24" squares. He could clamp anything on that table.
