newbie question

I am looking to buy a mig welder. I have done some welding in my past. I will mainly use for doing some work on my truck things like maybe reinforcing the frame where the gear box is,making battery boxes things like that frame work would be the thickest I would be welding.My question is I have been looking at lincoln 3200weld pak or theweld pak 175hd both from home depot any bad things about these 2? I would like to hear from you guys before I make the decison not looking tospend more than$650.00 also maybe would weld some aluim.   Thanks in advance

Reply:IF you are thinking aluminium keep in mind the need for a bottle of argon and for your sanity a spool gun.
