What is a fair price for these different size used tanks?

I see many tanks for sale on the internet but the prices seem to be all over the place.I am looking for a argon/carbon dioxide tank.  One that is in average to good condition.  Anyone tell me what I should expect to pay for these different sizes?K, M, S or QThanks for any help.

Reply:The most valuable tank you can find used is one that is in date and has NO NAME embossed on the neck ring. In the welding gas supply business, that tank is considered Legal Tender where if they can convince you to swap it for a full tank with their name on it AND pay for the refill, they just became the owner of that tank....and still own the one they filled for you....and all you get out of the deal is the right to go back to that same location and continue to swap for a refill.What happens to your no name tank? They epoxy a stamped steel neck ring cover on it displaying their name and add it to their inventory.That said, once you swap for dealer owned refill, examine the refill tank at each swap and make certain they don't give you one with another company's name on it.Those guys can play dirty with you if you let them...Lots of LWS guys have been caught swapping tanks owned by other companies and they don't want them to remain in their inventory long when the other guy starts sniffing around.
Reply:In my neck of the woods an S can be bought(you own a piece of steel) for 225 and a Q for 185 and they come full.Some places neck rings mean something.........around me neck rings mean squat(S and down).
