Brass to Copper with Aluminum bronze TIG ?!

On friday a guy came into the shop with some plumbing parts, a copper nipple he wanted attached to a brass faucet body. All I had was Aluminum bronze rod, so I set the welder to 160a AC with %90 EN and welded it quickly, before all the popping zinc? could escape. Will this repair last.
