hi guys, new to this forum. does anyone know of a website that may tell some history of sa,s. i have a blackface shorthood sa 200, code is 2866 serial a330292, wondering what year the old girl may be, how many where built ect. i just pulled the starter (fried) and took it to be rebuilt, the guy said it is a 6-volt, as long as i have known and owned this machine it has been a 12-volt alternator-battery start, would this have been a 6-volt from the factory converted to a 12-volt? did lincoln ever paint the welders other colors than gray, the engine on this is a light green, no gray anywhere, sheetmetal goldbrown (ugly). 1700 hours on meter. what is average hours ( life expectince) on these engines? how often and what grade oils dow most you guys run in yours ? ( i need to get a manual) sorry about so many questons but never had anywhere to ask befor. thanks so much.

Reply:just been browsing and came across www.watchesshopping.net there prices seem to be way lower that standard. All of the wristwatches seem to be priced around $200 to $300. Are they fakes? The site seems to look quite legit.

Reply:As for the hours, I have a lincoln classic III 350 with 6250 hours so yours is like brand new. You bought a good machine that will run forever with proper maintanence. |
