Reply:how much for the rod oven?
Reply:I would like to sell the Thunderbolt and oven together. Or at least sell the thunderbolt first The rods in the oven are a good mix and go with the package.GOOD DRY RODS Thanks Tony Attached Images
Reply:Phoenix still makes those ovens so anyone needing parts is good to go. We have one that's been in use for decades.http://www.dryrod.com/manuals.htmlI'm too far away to buy any of it, but a pro would want the oven separate since if they need to bake that much rod they already have plenty of welding machines. Splitting things up normally gets more money, which is why stuff is so often parted out on Fleabay.
Reply:I bought the oven on craigs list the guy I bought it from converted from 220 to 110 But when I took it home and plugged it in and left it on with the thermostat turned down The Temp. still climbed up to about 350 Not being an electrician I just put a light bulb inside and it keeps it dry Phoenix still makes this oven size about 1400.00 new with working thermostat I think a new control switch was about 120.00 if that is the problem Maybe it just has to be switched back But I do want to sell the Thunderbolt First. Make me an offer on both and sell the thunderbolt It is in very good condition and it will do the same as new only with longer Leads . I work for a Heavy consruction company our Weldor atwork who does mostly heavy equipment checked it out and said it will melt some Iron, But he would'nt Hardface with it all day. Thanks TonyLast edited by tonylumps; 02-13-2011 at 04:16 PM.
Reply:I have decided to keep my HH140 and just add another Mig to the fleet The thunderbolt and oven are still for sale 500.00 for both The thunderbolt works like new and the rod oven is set for 110 but can be changed to 220 by switching wires and changing plug ends Thermostat is holding +or- 10* you know what they cost new And all parts are available for spares So if you live in the area come and take a look Thanks Tony
Reply:The Thunderbolt sold about 15 minutes ago so I am down to the Rod Oven 275.00 Takes it Works perfect If you need one this will be a good buy. Thanks Tony |
