Reply:They both weld great.Very similar capabilities.The only differences I note is that the 211i is much bigger, heavier, and bulkier. No carry handle either.The 210mp is much smaller, about 20lbs less weight. Also note that the 210mp will only take up to a 8" 12lb spool. The 211i will hold a 44lb 12" spool.I own the 211i, and have used the 210mp quite a bit.Just a couple welders, big hammers, grinders, and torches.Work will free you.Men in dirty jeans built this country, while men in clean suits have destroyed it. Reply:The 211i is the old Thermal Dynamics....I've used them, I wouldn't own one, biggest problem was the drive feed had inconsistencies I tested a new Power Mig 210....two thumbs up thereyou have to ask yourself, why such a big discount? Reply:The 211i feeds wire just fine.. I use a Lincoln 15 ft magnum gun 200 gun,and 33 pound spools.. and a fixed Tweco 12 ft one.. The 211i has more top end voltage power.. Put some 90-10 gas in and find out..If it had a feeding problem, it would show up on the spray-arc wfs.. I have owned many feeders over the years, and know if something has any feeding issues.. The Wire-feed motor feeder is much bigger, and stronger on the Tweco. Just uses the single driven drive roll style, and not the two driven of the Lincoln..Setup correctly the 211i is totally fine for the job. If you use the stock Fusion gun, you will never know how good the 211i is. (IMO) The range of the inductance control is a much bigger feature then a ten step up/down setting on the Lincoln.
