Lincoln SA250 D3.152 where to find serial#

Purchased a Lincoln SA250 a couple of years ago. Half of face plate was accidently torn off by helper before serial # was written down. Anywhere else I can find my serial # or code or something?
Reply:The code number should be stamped on the generator housing, look close, paint might obscure it.The serial number you are out of luck as far as I know.JTMcC.
