Griftan safety caps.

So like a dummy I bought 3 course thread high pressure caps. Well I need fine thread caps. If I am correct they need to be 3 1/8" - 11 thread size.  Is there any chance someone has a source for rings with this internal thread size that I can just switch them out? I already have an email awaiting a reply from Griftan but also assuming they won't want me to modify them (I asked if I could buy the rings from them). Another option is to cannabilize 3 bottle caps but don't want to just yet.
Reply:Not that it matters really, but are these the clam shell or open top ring type?  Might be easier to either return them or sell them to someone in need of that size, then get what you really need.
Reply:They are clamp shell type. 10-4 on the selling just seeing what my options are first.

Reply:I've got a couple of older "Air Reduction" company bottles with coarse threads.  Heck I picked one up from the LWS that I swear someone beat a fine thread cap on with a sledge hammer.
