Kalamazoo VT18 Tilt frame metal cutting bandsaw. Powerfeed, cuts 45 degrees left and right (as well as any thing in between, 18"x 20" @ 90 degrees, adjustable blade speeds, coolant, left and right catch wings (not pictured). Tilt frame saws work by clamping the stock in the vise and engaging the power feed and letting the saw automatically feed the blade into the material. The whole blade column rides on a ball bearing carriage located under the table letting it move smoothly. By clamping stock down on the table with the built in T-slots, it will even cut compound miters. 3HP 3phase 220/240V but could easily be run off of a converter. This is a beast of a saw (that is 7" OD tubing clamped on the table) that can cut up to 18" pipe or solid bar, and 18"x 20" bar or I-beams. Weighs approximately 3000 pounds but is easy to roll around the shop. This saw would be ideal in a welding, fabrication, or structural shop. Comparable to a Marvel or Amada tilt frame, support and parts are still available through Clausing. I need the space for an auto feed saw. Can assist with loading. $1500 OBO. Please send a PM if interested. [img]http://austincnc.com/images/kal4.jpg[/img |
