A cart for my Maxstar.

So I got this cart from my brother that he got from a friend for free. I don't have pictures of how it looked when I got it but it's built from a basic dolly and this guy had used all different sorts of scrap materials to make a basic cart that was functional but kind of flimsy.  I could have just reinforced it in places to make it stronger but I wanted to make it my own and do something a little different so here's what I have so far. I built this arm to clamp near the top of the argon bottle rather than using a chain or something to secure it. These are the clamp pieces for the end of the arm. And here it is put together. Reply:A couple more pictures that apparently wouldn't fit in my first post. I definitely have more to do and I will post updates as they happen. Reply:Oh and I also want to say that I saw nothing wrong with the original cart being made from scrap pieces. I love finding good steel as scrap and putting it to good use. Pretty much everything I'm using for this cart is scrap/salvage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Reply:Well as I said I am not finished yet.  You bring up good points and I will consider those as I continue to build.  And I suppose my design may never be very efficient for those things but I think I can find some creative ways to store a few things on it.  I think it has some potential.  If not I'll build another one.  I just got that bottle and have been running mostly stick since but when I do empty it I will replace it with the next size up and it will not be so cute anymore.

Reply:Creative and stylish.One question/concern, is the Maxstar actually fastened down to the plate?I have a bad habit of moving work around with the ground clamp still attached. It appears a slight tug to the side might topple an expensive machine. FWIW....Hobbyist - At what point is a "hobby" out-of-control?
