Code on an sa 200

Can anyone tell me where on the welder the code is stamped other than the faceplate.I cant see any numbers on the generator?It is a k6090 and the serial # is 63410 heres  a pic of the faceplate.i am trying to figure out the year and what manual to download.felon Attached ImagesCaution lurker lives here" hmmm That is serious,pass the ganja and pick up a  24 of MGD"

Reply:Haven't a clue if this is useful information for you or not.Mine is a '74 and when I e-mailed Lincoln they told me it was a Canadian built machine and that they didn't use codes for Canadian machines in those days.  Haven't even got a place for code on my faceplate. Top to bottom on my faceplate is:- Model- Type- The serial number is here but there is nothing beside the spot that says anything at all.  My serial doesn't start with an "A".  Weird EH?At the bottom of the faceplate it says it was made in Canada and the faceplate number is not L-5171  but is C-5171 to show it is Canadian.Maybe yours is similar?Gordie -- "I believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant."

The operator manual is IM208 which can be downloaded from our website.
