Bullet hinges

I am putting some bullet hinges (never used them before) on smoker doors and would like to know if there are any tips/secrets to getting them properly lined up so the doors open properly and can be taken off if needed.Thanks Jay
Reply:I spaced my doors where I wanted them and welded a few tabs on the doors so they would not fall in. The ones I used had heavy tabs for welding. Just lay them on the gap and weld them on. I did not make my doors removable. Didn't see any reason to. Dan DManipulator Of Metal
