Hello all I finally had time to mess with my 200 today.the wires were on in the wrong order,took the magneto apart and cleaned it up ,reset the points.cleaned up the carb ,set the floats to 1/4 and blew out all the orifices.put it back together gave the old battery a jump and away she went,ran great for a few minutes then died like she was out of gas.gave the throttle a few cranks and jumped her again blooey away she went and same deal.now when i had the carb apart i dont recall checking to see if the main jet was sticking or not.could this be the culprit? Reply:I bet it's a fuel line/supply issue. The line will dribble enough to somewhat fill the bowl and the ole girl will run long enough for yuo to turn your back, then flat on here face she'll fall.Hillbilly Fabworks
Reply:Right on the bulls eye.the gas filter was plugged and just a drip was sneaking through.Runs like a lincoln outta.now heres a smallish question, the fine adjust is there but the knob and guts are gone south.I shouldnt expect any spark at the welding leads until i replace same?
