Reply:I couldn't believe it when I read the ad & saw the pics...it had already been listed for a day.  It was at a local high school.  The gentleman that sold it to me said that he'd been working there for 17 years...it was there when he got there. He said they used it for the first couple years he was there & it sat in a corner ever since.  The vise on the stand has been modified and the legs need a little work...but I couldn't be happier. Reply:Ok guys.  I'm having some trouble with this saw.  The blade keeps coming off.  I tried switching the rubber-pulley tires around...every which way...no luck.  I'm not sure what else to mess with.  Parts are available...but damned if I know what to adjust/replace.  Any advice? http://www.ereplacementparts.com/por...2109_1853.html [url=]

Reply:Try the bearings on the wheels. Fig.#12We have a Hy-Mech saw that was given new tires, torqued, tweaked and fussed over with no improvement. Last ditch attempt, put new bearings on wheels, and fixed it. It had too little movement to perceive, normally, but putting a dial indicator on the lash caught the movement. As soon as it was tight the wheel would drive the blade right off.  Might be similar in your case. Good luck, and sweet score.
